Abstract
GMA News and Public Affairs' Katipunan is an eight-part historical miniseries on the revolutionary group founded by Andres Bonifacio. Starring award-winning actor Sid Lucero as Bonifacio, Katipunan presents the heels and heroes of the Philippine Revolution. It reveals the truth about the intrigues infighting in the Katipunan.
Volume 2- Episode 5 -8
After founding the Katipunan and recruiting its members. Bonifcaio set the stage for the first widespread revolt against Spain. He will die not in battle, but in the hands of men he called brothers. While the revolution spreads, the bickering between the Magdalo and Magdiwang factions heats up. Following the sham election at the Tejeros Convention, a mock trial takes place, ending in the murder of Andres Bonifacio at Mount Buntis.
